(A) Style. The style of all ordinances shall be: “BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LOCKPORT,” as is provided by statute.
(B) “Yes” and “Nay” vote. The yeas and nays shall be taken upon the passage of all ordinances and on all propositions to create any liability against the city, or for the expenditure or appropriation of its money, and in all other cases at the request of any member of the Council; and such vote shall be entered on the journal of the proceedings, as is provided by statute.
