(A) A seal in a circular form, with the words “City of Lockport, Will County, Illinois,” on the outer circle, and in the interior and center of the circle, the word “Seal,” shall be the seal of the city of Lockport, to be used in all cases that have been or shall hereafter be provided by the laws of the United States, the laws of the several respective states of the United States, and the ordinances of the city, and in all cases, in which, by the laws and customs of nations, it is necessary to use a seal by a corporation.
(B) The city seal shall be, and remain, in the custody of the Clerk of the city, to be used by the Clerk and the Mayor of the city, as is provided in division (A) of this section.
