In the event of unusual circumstances causing full-time salaried personnel to be unable to utilize vacation days to which they are entitled in the year those days are earned, they may, at the discretion of the Village Administrator (and in the case of the Village Administrator - the Mayor), be paid for unused vacation time the last paycheck of the calendar year in which the vacation was earned or the first paycheck of the next calendar year.
