§ 856.42 REVOCATION AFTER REPEATED CONVICTIONS.
The owner of a public vehicle shall be responsible for the lawful operation of the same when driven by anyone with his or her knowledge. Whenever the driver of a public vehicle is convicted of a violation of any provision of this chapter, the Village Administrator shall notify the owner thereof of such conviction in writing. When convictions for violations of this chapter or of any traffic law or ordinance have been obtained twice within 90 days, the Administrator shall hold a public hearing as to the revocation of the license of such vehicle. The owner shall have due notice of such public hearing. If, after such hearing, the Administrator finds that a practice exists as to the unlawful operation of such public vehicle, he or she shall thereupon revoke the license for the operation thereof.
