Whenever an owner of an auto-for-hire is convicted of allowing such vehicle to stand on any space designated by the Village Administrator, as a public stand for taxicabs, or of soliciting or accepting passengers on the public streets, or of displaying any sign, symbol, lettering or advertisement on the outside of such vehicle, or of violating § 856.17, the Administrator shall notify the Village Clerk-Treasurer of such fact and the latter shall thereupon revoke the license of such vehicle.
