CHAPTER 840: PAWNSHOPS (REPEALED)

Effective July 22, 1994, the municipal regulations concerning pawnbrokers were preempted by the provisions of Ohio R.C. § 4727.16, which established that the state shall be the sole regulator of pawnbrokers. For state regulations concerning pawnbrokers, see Ohio R.C. Chapter 4727.
