Any person wishing to obtain the license required by § 824.02 shall obtain such license from the Village Administrator upon the payment of a fee of $100 for each day that such business is to be carried on. Such license shall terminate automatically on the last day for which such fee has been paid. However, the license required by this chapter shall not be required of the sale of any product or article by the owner of any such product of his or her own raising, or by the manufacturer of any such article manufactured by him or her. This exception shall not apply to produce or merchandise which is purchased by the seller for resale to the ultimate consumer.
