§ 820.03 PERMIT REQUIRED; APPLICATION; FEE; DISPLAY OF PERMITS.
   (a)   No person shall conduct a garage sale without first obtaining a permit therefore.
   (b)   The Village Administrator shall provide applications for permits for garage sales. Such an application shall include the name of the applicant, who shall be a resident of the municipality, the applicant’s address, telephone number and length of residence in the municipality and the nature of merchandise to be offered for sale, the date of the sale and the hours and duration of the sale.
   (c)   The application is to be submitted by the Administrator to the Mayor or his or her duly authorized agent and the Chief of Police, who shall approve the application and issue the permit.
   (d)   No fee shall be charged for such permits.
   (e)   Every permittee conducting a garage sale shall keep the permit posted in a prominent place upon the licensed premises and shall exhibit the same upon request.
