The Mayor, upon being satisfied that a licensee under this chapter has violated any of the provisions of this chapter or any applicable municipal ordinance or state law, or is guilty of any fraud, misrepresentation or committing a nuisance, or has conducted his or her business in a manner contrary to the provisions of his or her license, may revoke or suspend such license and the fees paid therefore shall be forfeited.
