It shall be unlawful for any person required by any provision of this section to furnish a report or information, to fail, neglect or refuse to make such report or furnish such information, photograph or fingerprints, or to fail, neglect or refuse to furnish the same within the time prescribed, or to fail, neglect or refuse to furnish the police, within such time, any information, photograph or fingerprints required to be furnished by any provision of this section, or to furnish any false, untrue or misleading information on, or statement relating to, any information required to be made or furnished.
