§ 674.02 DECLARATION OF NUISANCE; COMPLIANCE REQUIRED.
   (a)   Russian, Canadian or common thistle, wild lettuce, wild mustard, wild parsley, ragweed, milkweed, ironweed and all other noxious weeds growing upon any lot or land in the village are hereby declared to be a public nuisance. Every owner, occupant or person in control of any lot or land in the village shall cause such lot or land to be kept free from noxious weeds by destroying them by spraying them with a chemical compound, approved by the County Commissioner of Health, by cutting or digging under such weeds or by any other method approved by the County Commissioner of Health.
   (b)   No owner, occupant or person in control of any lot or land in the village shall fail to comply with any of the provisions of this chapter.
   (c)   Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor. Punishment shall be as provided in § 698.02. A separate offense shall be deemed committed each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues and for each plot of ground owned or controlled by the violator.
