§ 684.01 DEFINITIONS.
   For this chapter, the words and phrases defined hereunder shall have the meanings therein respectively ascribed to them, unless a different meaning is clearly indicated by the context.
   CHRONIC NUISANCE. A premises or property that is in violation of this Chapter 684.
   NUISANCE or NUISANCE ACTIVITY. Any of the following activities, conduct, or behavior whenever engaged in by premises owners, operators, occupants, or persons associated with a premises:
      (1)   Assault, aggravated assault, or felonious assault as defined in Ohio Basic Code § 135.04, or any offense of violence as defined in Ohio Basic Code Chapter 135;
      (2)   Menacing, aggravated menacing, or menacing by stalking as defined in Ohio Basic Code §§ 135.06, l35.06(A), or 135.06(C);
      (3)   Inducing panic, making a false alarm, or perpetrating a hoax weapon of mass destruction as defined in Ohio Basic Code §§ 132.08 and 132.09;
      (4)   Disrupting public services as defined in Ohio Basic Code §§ 132.05 and 132.06;
      (5)   Curfew violation as defined in Village Ordinance # 10-2018;
      (6)   Attendance at school violation as defined in Ohio Basic Code § 135.18;
      (7)   Disorderly conduct as defined in Ohio Basic Code § 132.04;
      (8)   Discharging firearms in violation of Ohio Basic Code § 137.09;
      (9)   Commission of any drug offense under Ohio Basic Code Chapter 138;
      (10)   Compelling or promoting prostitution, procuring, soliciting, or loitering to engage in solicitation, or prostitution as defined in Ohio Basic Code Chapter 133, inclusive;
      (11)   Public gaming as defined in Ohio Basic Code § 134.04;
      (12)   Unauthorized possession, sale, or discharge of fireworks as defined in Ohio Basic Code § 91.02;
      (13)   Loud noises or excessive sound from a motor vehicle as defined in Ohio Basic Code §§ 72.125, 72.129; or
      (14)   Loud, dangerous, or vicious dog as defined in Ohio Basic Code Chapter 90.
   OCCUPANT. The person residing in or having use of a premises. The same person or persons can be owner and occupant.
   OPERATOR. Any person, firm, partnership, company, corporation, or association, including their employees, agents, or contractors, that controls, operates, or manages a premise(s).
   OWNER. Any person, partnership, firm, company, association, trust, or corporation, who alone or jointly with others, shall be in possession of or have any control of any premises, or is listed as the owner of a premises on the records of the Hamilton County Auditor.
   PERSON ASSOCIATED WITH. Any person who, whenever engaged in a nuisance or nuisance activity, enters, patronizes, visits; attempts to enter, patronize or visit; or waits to enter, patronize, or visit, a premises or person present on a premises, including any officer, director, customer, agent, employee, or independent contractor of a premises owner.
   PROPERTY OR PREMISES. A platted lot or part thereof, or unplatted lot or parcel of land, or plot of land either occupied or unoccupied by any building or structure, equipment, or property of any kind.
   UNIT. An individual residential dwelling or individual non-residential/commercial space in which the occupant(s) or business operator(s) have a right to exclusive possession, including, but not limited to, an individual apartment within an apartment complex or an individual dwelling within a multi-family home, or an individual non-residential/commercial space within a structure that includes multiple non-residential/ commercial units.
