§ 412.11 TRANSPORTATION OF HAZARDOUS WASTES.
   (a)   No person shall transport, or cause to be transported, on any highway, street or bridge within the village limits, any hazardous waste whose net weight exceeds 500 pounds, without giving 24 hours prior notification to the Police Chief, Fire Chief or Village Administrator of the exact time and route to be taken on village streets or bridges.
   (b)   Hazardous waste shall be those materials defined in 42 U.S.C. 6903(5), including gaseous and liquid wastes exhibiting the same characteristics.
   (c)   This section shall not apply to licensed carriers which are governed by federal laws and are operated on federal highways.
   (d)   Whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree.
