§ 1490.13 DISPOSITION OF PROPERTY.
   (a)   The Mayor or Village Administrator is hereby authorized to negotiate for the sale or lease of property in an urban renewal or project area which is not to be retained by the village for uses in accordance with the urban renewal plan. In connection therewith the Mayor or Village Administrator is hereby to enter into necessary appraisal and market analysis contracts. No land shall be sold or leased for more than one year by the Mayor or Village Administrator except pursuant to a specific ordinance of Council authorizing such sale or lease, which ordinance shall prescribe in detail the terms and conditions upon which such sale or lease is to be made and the covenants to be contained in the deed from the village to the purchaser or lessee.
   (b)   Pending the use or sale of property in an urban renewal or project area it may be temporarily rented for such uses and purposes as may be desirable, even though not in conformity with the urban renewal plan.
