§ 1464.11 PROTECTION AND RELOCATION OF SEWERS AND DRAINAGE COURSES.
   (a)   If, in the opinion of the Metropolitan Sewer District or the Village Administrator, it is necessary to adjust, relocate, add to or otherwise modify the existing sewerage system or drainage course serving the area affected by an excavation or fill operation, or to protect the existing sewerage system or drainage course from damage, a permit shall be issued in accordance with this chapter only if the applicant for the permit obtains a permit to provide, relocate or modify the sewerage system or drainage course for the affected area pursuant to the current rules and regulations of the Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati and the Village of Lockland, at the expense of the applicant, and such easements as may be necessary are granted.
   (b)   In places where existing sewerage is adequate, but, in the opinion of the Director of Sewers or the Village Administrator is of doubtful strength to carry additional loading, the Building Commissioner shall issue a permit in accordance with this chapter only if the applicant for the permit provides written approval from the Director of Sewers and the Village Administrator.
