(a) (1) The following plan review fees are hereby established and the Chief Building Official of the village is hereby directed to put the same into effect immediately:
A. For new construction, remodeling and additions:
1. The base fee shall be $105, plus $3 per 100 square feet up to 20,000 square feet and $2 per 100 square feet over 20,000 square feet.
2. Square footage shall be calculated based on the building’s gross area of all floors.
B. The fee for non-structural roof repair or repair or reshingling shall be $70.
C. The fee for residential siding shall be $70.
D. The fee for window installation shall be $70.
E. The fee for fences shall be $70.
F. The fee for handicap ramps shall be $50.
(2) This section shall apply only to those buildings and facilities requiring approval in accordance with the Ohio Basic Building Code.
(b) In addition to the above-referenced fees, the village shall charge a fee for the issuance of a permit or any other review for matters not specified above, which shall be the same as those established in the current edition of the Hamilton County Building Code, Schedule of Fees, which is incorporated by reference herein, published by the Hamilton County Department of Buildings and Inspections, as it may be revised from time to time.
(c) The penalty for starting construction before plans are reviewed and a permit is issued shall be twice the normal fee provided herein for both the plan review and the permit.
