Whoever violates or fails to comply with any provisions of this chapter, or with any order issued pursuant to this chapter, or with any rule or regulation promulgated under authority of this chapter, is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree and shall be fined not more than $500 for each offense or placed in jail for more than 60 days. A separate offense shall be deemed committed each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues following notification of the violation.
