§ 1424.06 EMERGENCY ORDERS.
   Whenever the Code Enforcement Officer finds that an emergency exists which requires immediate action to protect the health, safety or welfare of occupants of insecure, unsafe or structurally defective buildings, structures or other premises, or the public, he or she shall proceed forthwith to issue an order reciting the existence of the emergency and order such remedial action as is necessary to meet the emergency. If necessary, to protect the health or safety of occupants or the public, the Code Enforcement Officer shall order that the premises on which such emergency exists, be vacated forthwith and that such premises not be reoccupied until the order is complied with or executed. Notwithstanding any other provision of this Building and Housing Code, any such order shall be effective immediately and complied with in the time and manner prescribed in such order.
