(a) Pursuant to Ohio R.C. § 731.231, there is hereby adopted, by and for the Village of Lockland the Ohio Building Code, being particularly the 2002 edition thereof, as adopted by the Ohio Board of Building Standards, Department of Commerce and as published in O.A.C. Division 4101:1 (the Ohio Administrative Code) save and except such portions thereof as may be hereinafter amended or deleted and all subsequent revisions.
(b) The BOCA Basic Building Code, 1987, tenth edition, as well as the BOCA Basic Mechanical Code, 1987, sixth edition, as published by Building Officials and Code Administrators International, Inc., and as amended by O.A.C. 4101:2-1 through 4101:2-54 (the Ohio Administrative Code), are incorporated herein as if fully set out at length.
