§ 1060.12 DUMPSTER REQUIREMENTS.
   (a)   Unless alternative arrangements are made with the Village Administrator, any house, apartment building or similar dwelling with six or more units is required, at the owner's expense to contract for or provide dumpster service for the tenants. Dumpster size and service shall be adequate for the disposal of garbage collected within a one-week period.
   (b)   Unless alternative arrangements are made with the Village Administrator, a dumpster roll cart or other similar container is also required for all businesses and commercial or industrial establishments that use five or more cans to accommodate the disposal of garbage and trash in a week's time.
   (c)   Due to lot size, shape and building location, the village recognizes that unusual circumstances may exist where it is not possible to locate a dumpster on the premises. Under these circumstances, a minimum of one can per unit is required to accommodate the amount of garbage being disposed of, or enough cans to adequately maintain a business's refuse, garbage and trash. Dumpsters shall be used if appropriate to this section unless and until approval to do otherwise is granted by the Village Administrator to the landlord or business, subject to such conditions as the Village Administrator may require, which conditions are consistent with the intent and purpose of this chapter.
