§ 151.31 APPROVAL PREREQUISITE TO PLAT RECORDATION.
   (A)   Pursuant to G.S. § 160D-803, no final plat of a subdivision within the jurisdiction of the town as established in § 151.35 of this code shall be recorded by the Register of Deeds of the county until it has been approved by the Board of Commissioners of the town as provided in this subchapter.
   (B)   To secure approval of a final plat, the subdivider shall follow the procedures established in this subchapter.
