To prevent the backsiphonage or backflow from potential hazards as set forth in Title 179 Neb. Admin. Code, State Department of Health, the municipality and the Utilities Superintendent hereby require all real property owners and customers to install vacuum breaker devices, at his or her expense, on all outside hose attachable yard hydrants and spigots in order to assist the village in protecting the municipal water supply system from contamination or hazards.
