(A) Water bills shall be due and payable monthly at the office of the Municipal Clerk. The Utilities Superintendent shall direct the Municipal Clerk to charge and collect from each consumer the amount due the Water Department for water fees, with any other charges properly itemized. It shall be the duty of consumers to pay their bills promptly at the office of the Municipal Clerk.
(B) Bills shall be due by the first day of the month and shall be deemed delinquent on the fifteenth day of the month. Upon being deemed to be delinquent, as herein defined, the Municipal Clerk shall give a written notice to the customer of such delinquency and shall demand payment immediately. If payment is not received the Municipal Clerk shall follow the procedures set forth in § 50.02 of this code to discontinue service to the customer.
