It is hereby made the duty of every member of the police force to seize any table, instrument, device, or thing used for the purpose of gaming, except for devices and equipment licensed an operated in accordance with the Video Gaming Act, ILCS Ch. 230, Act 40, §§ 1 et seq. Any person or persons obstructing or resisting any member of the police force in any act authorized by this section shall be subject to a fine of not less than $50 for each offense.
