9-3-1: ADOPTION OF STATE LAW BY REFERENCE, DEFINITIONS:
   (A)   Every owner of an animal in the Village shall comply with the Animal Control Act of the State of Illinois, 510 Illinois Compiled Statutes 5/1 et seq., and the Humane Care for Animals Act 1 , the provisions of which are adopted by reference.
   (B)   As used in this chapter, unless the context otherwise requires, the terms specified in this chapter shall have the meanings ascribed to them in the Animal Control Act 2 . (Ord. 2018-4801, 12-17-2018)
