At the time of submission of the preliminary or the final plat, the subdivider shall pay a filing fee to the village in the following manner:
(A) Preliminary Plat: An amount as established by Title 1, Chapter 20, “Fees, Fines, Insurance, Guarantees, and Regulatory Measures” per acre, plus reimbursement to the village for any cost or expense incurred by the village due to application for the preliminary plat approval, including, but not limited to, professional fees for legal, planning and engineering assistance. Further, mailing, copying and other similar expenses shall also be reimbursed to the village. Reimbursement shall be made in accordance with section 1-14-1 of this code.
(B) Final Plat: An amount as established by Title 1, Chapter 20, “Fees, Fines, Insurance, Guarantees, and Regulatory Measures” per acre, which charge shall include the cost of inspection and review. In addition, if the village shall incur costs and expenses due to application for the final plat approval, including, but not limited to, professional fees for legal, planning and engineering assistance to the village, mailing and copying expenses shall be reimbursed to the village. Reimbursement shall be made in accordance with section 1-14-1 of this code. If the total of such expenses incurred exceeds the per acre fee paid pursuant to this subsection, the village shall be reimbursed for such excess as an additional part of the fee.
