(a) Full-time employees shall work an eight hour day with a thirty minute lunch period and two ten- minute breaks, both of which shall be paid.
(b) Employees of the Village who work in excess of eight hours in a single day, or forty full consecutive hours in a week, shall be paid overtime at the rate of one and one-half times their regular hourly rate, with the exception of the Sexton, Mayor's Secretary, Custodian, Police Chief, Deputy Clerk- Treasurer, Income Tax Clerk, and the Public Works Clerk, of whom all the preceding shall not be paid overtime unless authorized by Council/Mayor prior to overtime worked. Also, effective January 1, 1998, there will be no overtime paid to part-time employees.
