(a) The Board of Trustees is authorized and directed to adopt and enforce specifications and regulations in accordance with the provisions of this chapter for the purpose of providing control of the installation of sewer connections and the inspection thereof. The Board of Trustees shall maintain accurate and complete records of all permits issued and inspections made. The Board of Trustees is empowered to require the abandonment and removal of connections to the public storm sewers which violate the provisions of this chapter.
(b) The Council affirms that the sanitary sewers and the sanitary sewer system of the Village are under the exclusive control of the Board of Trustees as provided for in Ohio R.C. 729.50.
