(a) Flood plain management code incorporated by reference. For the purpose of regulating the development, use and construction of and on certain lands within the corporate limits of the city, which are subject to periodic flooding that certain code known as the “Flood Plain Management Code”, 2009 Edition, the City of Linwood, Kansas, such incorporation being authorized by K.S.A. 12-741 and specifically in K.S.A. 12-766, not less than three copies of said “Flood Plain Management Code” shall be marked or stamped “Official Copy as Incorporated by Ord. 694 of the City of Linwood”, and be filed with the City Clerk, to be open to inspection and to be available to the public at all reasonable hours.
(b) Invalidity. ln the event any section or provision of the “Flood Plain Management Code”, 2009 Edition, or is in this section is held invalid, or is in conflict with state law of regulations, the invalidity of that section or provision shall not affect the validity of the balance of the sections or provisions of such code or this section.
