(a) The municipality meets the statutory requirements to be considered an “eligible employer” as defined by K.S.A. 74-4902(13).
(b) It is the desire of the municipality’s governing body, to become a participating employer in the Kansas Public Employees Retirement System (hereinafter KPERS) which is established under the provisions of K.S.A. 74-4901 et seq. effective January 1, 2003.
(c) The municipality hereby makes application to become a participating employer to provide for the inclusion of all its eligible employees under KPERS as provided by K.S.A. 74-4901 et seq., effective January 1, 2003.
