§ 1-403 CITY EMPLOYEE HOLIDAYS.

(a) The City Council has the authority to determine city employee legal holidays.

(K.S.A. 35-107)

(b) Paid holidays are to be:

(1) New Year’s Day;

(2) Presidents’ Day;

(3) Memorial Day;

(4) Independence Day;

(5) Labor Day;

(6) Veterans’ Day;

(7) Thanksgiving Day and the Friday after;

(8) Christmas Eve; and

(9) Christmas Day.
