70.06.020 Traffic Control Devices; Instructions; Extraordinary Care; Safety Controls - I.C. 9- 21-8-41(a)(b)(c).
   (A)   A person who drives a vehicle or street car may not disobey the instructions of an official traffic control device placed in accordance with this Chapter unless otherwise directed by a police officer.
   (B)   All traffic shall observe and obey traffic control devices including signals, signs, and warnings, and all directions, signs, or warning devices that may be given or displayed by a law enforcement officer or flagman to safely control traffic movement at a worksite and promote safety at a worksite.
   (C)   Residential districts have unique needs for the strict enforcement of and compliance with traffic control devices in order to ensure the safety of young children and families who may be pedestrians, bicychng, or otherwise using public ways recreationally or for other frequent and common purpose, and, as such, persons shall exhibit extraordinary care in such residential districts.
