(A) The City shall offer a deferral program to each eligible person cited under this Chapter. The deferral program will provide that the person not violate any local, state, or federal law or regulation for a period of 6 months, among other terms and conditions deemed appropriate by the municipahty and consistent with the law. So long as the person does not violate the deferral agreement, the cause of action shall be dismissed as soon as reasonable possible after the expiration of the deferral period.
(B) The City shall assess a minimum initial user's fee of $50.50, and a minimum monthly user's fee of $60.00 ($10/month), all of which are due, along with court costs and other applicable fees, at the time of submission of a signed, dated agreement to the Clerk of the Superior Court of Greene County, Indiana. As of the adoption of this Ordinance 2014-3, the total deferral program fee would be $190.00. However, court costs and other applicable fees are subject to change, and, as such, any increases in court costs and fees shall increase the total deferral program fee accordingly.
