(A) There is hereby created the Department of Sanitation Service as a separate utility service to the City of Linton under the direction and supervision of the Linton Board of Public Works, and there is hereby created the Sanitation Department Fund as a non-reverting utility fund.
(B) Any and all funds now deposited in the Sanitation Service Fund of the General Fund of the civil city are hereby transferred to the Sanitation Department Fund, which fund is a separate utility fund, distinct from the civil city.
(C) This section shall take effect and be in force on and after its passage and approval by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of Linton, Indiana.
