§ 50.18 TAMPERED METER DISCONNECT AND RECONNECT POLICY.
   (A)   When a meter is found to be tampered with, the meter reader or other qualified city utility employee will have a witness to verify such and it shall be disconnected within 24 hours.
   (B)   The violator will pay a $250 fine for each violation.
   (C)   The person responsible for the violation must pay the estimate of the utility office in full as to how much utility has been used and not paid for.
   (D)   A meter deposit will be made in the amount of 25% of the customer’s annual utility bill.
   (E)   All of this money will be paid in full, in person, at a regular meeting of the City Council and be paid to the Clerk-Treasurer at that Council meeting as an official act of the Council.
