For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
BOARD OF WORKS. The Linton Board of Public Works.
BUSINESS DAY. A day that the Utility Office is regularly scheduled to be open for business.
CUSTOMER. Any person, firm, corporation, municipality or other government agency that has agreed, orally or otherwise, to pay for service received from a utility.
DISCONNECTION. The termination or discontinuance of service.
UTILITY. The Linton Municipal Utility Department.
UTILITY OFFICE. The office located in the City Hall on 86 South Main Street, Linton, Indiana 47441.
