(A) The penalty for violation of this chapter may be levied at the amount of $50. Each day that signage is posted on public property in violation of this chapter shall be deemed a separate violation, and the violating person or entity will be penalized at a cost of $50 per day per violation.
(B) If it is determined that a violation of this chapter has caused damage to city-owned property, the violating person or entity shall reimburse the city for all damages, costs and expenses incurred as a result of the violation, including court costs and attorney fees incurred in enforcing this chapter.
(C) The placement of signage on public property in violation of this chapter is hereby declared to be a nuisance, and therefore subject to applicable nuisance laws. In addition to any other relief provided by this chapter, the City Attorney may apply to a court of competent jurisdiction for (1) an injunction to prohibit the continuation of any violation of this chapter; (2) recovery of the city's damages sustained as a result of the violation; and (3) recovery of all court costs, attorney fees and out-of-pocket expenses incurred by the city as a result of the violation.
