An Abandoned Vehicle Fund is hereby established as required under IC 9-22-1-30.
1. The fund shall be used to pay for the costs for removal and storage of an abandoned vehicle not claimed by the person who owns or holds a hen on a vehicle.
2. The costs incurred by the City in administering this fund shall be paid from the Abandoned Vehicle Fund.
3. The City Council shall annually appropriate sufficient money to the fund. Money remaining in the fund at the end of the year remains in the fund and does not revert to the General Fund.
