If a vehicle is not removed within the 72-hour period, the Officer shall prepare a written abandoned vehicle report of the vehicle, including information on make, model, engine number, identification number, license plate number, condition, missing parts, and any other facts that might substantiate the estimated market value of the vehicle. Photographs shall be taken to describe the condition of the vehicle. The City may dispose of a vehicle to an automobile scrap yard if the established market value of said vehicle is not more than $500. A copy of the abandoned vehicle report and photographs relating to the vehicle shall be forwarded to the State Bureau of Motor Vehicles. The original records and photographs shall be retained for a period of two years in the City of Linton Police Department.
