(A) This section's intent is to show enforcement of I.C. 14-16. Regulation of land, I.C. 14-16-1-22, pertains to a county, city, or town passing an ordinance regulating the operation of vehicles if the ordinance meets substantially the minimum requirements of this chapter.
(B) A county, city, or town may pass an ordinance of vehicles if the ordinance meets substantially the minimum requirements of this chapter. However, a county, city, or town may not adopt an ordinance that does any of the following:
(1) Imposes a fee for a license; and
(2) Specifies accessory equipment to be carried on the vehicles.
