SECTION 9.01. ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY.

The City may acquire by purchase, gift, condemnation, or otherwise, any real property, either within or without its boundaries, that may be needed by the City for any public purpose. In acquiring property by exercising the power of eminent domain, the City shall proceed according to Minnesota Law, Chapter 117, or other applicable laws.
