(1) Administration and enforcement.
(a) This chapter shall be administered and enforced by the Zoning Administrator who is appointed by the City Council. The Zoning Administrator may institute in the name of the City of Lino Lakes any appropriate actions or proceedings against a violator as provided by statute, ordinance, or code.
(b) If the provisions of this chapter are being violated, the city shall notify, in writing, the person responsible for such violations, indicating the nature of the violation and ordering the action necessary to correct it. The city shall order discontinuance of illegal use of land, buildings or structures; removal of illegal buildings or structures or of additions, alterations or structural changes thereto; discontinuance of any illegal work being done; or shall take any other action authorized by this section to ensure compliance with or to prevent violation of its provisions.
(2) Penalties, violations, and enforcement. In addition to the remedies set out in division (b) above, the city may enforce any provisions of this chapter by mandamus, injunction, or any other appropriate remedy in any court of competent jurisdiction.
