§ 605.09 WAIVER.

§ 605.08 LIABILITY.

This chapter shall not be construed to affect the responsibility or liability of any party owning, operating or installing the work listed in § 605.01 for damages to persons or property caused by any defect therein. The city shall not be construed to have assumed any liability by reason of the licensing of persons engaged in the work.

§ 605.09 WAIVER.

The Council may by resolution waive the requirements of all or any portion of this chapter in the event of a declared emergency, for the period of time as the Council may deem necessary.
