(1) No contractor's license shall be issued unless the applicant has filed with the city certificates evidencing the holding of public liability insurance in the minimum limits of $100,000 per person and $300,000 per accident for bodily injury and $50,000 for property damage; and a certificate of worker's compensation insurance as required by law.
(2) All insurance policies required under this section shall contain provisions that the policies may not be canceled without ten days prior written notice mailed to the city.
