Each contractor's license shall authorize the licensee to engage only in the type of work listed on his or her application. A general contractor's license shall authorize the licensee to perform all of the work included in his or her general contract, including all work listed in § 605.01, divisions (1) through (9), provided that the person actually performing work is in the regular employ of the general contractor and is qualified as required by state law to perform work. The general contractor shall be responsible for the quality and completeness of all the work so performed.
