§ 504.01 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   BOW AND ARROW. Pointed tip arrow and bow.
   FIREARMS. For the purposes of this chapter, shall mean rifles, shotguns and handguns.
   HANDGUN. A hand-held weapon discharging a single shot or pellet at a time.
   NON-FIREARM. A crossbow, a bow and arrow, pellet gun, BB gun and slingshots, including wrist rockets.
   RIFLE. A shoulder weapon with a rifle bore barrel and discharging a single shot or pellet at a time.
   SHOTGUN. A shoulder weapon with a smooth bored barrel or barrels and normally discharging more than one pellet at a time, except when using a single slug.
   WRITTEN CONSENT. A written record of consent to hunt upon a landowner's property. The consent shall be signed by the owner and contain the following information:
      (a)   Name, address and phone number of the landowner;
      (b)   Name, address, phone number and date of birth of the hunter;
      (c)   Description of the land upon which the hunter has consent to hunt and the date that the consent begins and ends; and
      (d)   Hunters must have on their person a copy of the written consent with the above information and picture identification.
