(A) Office hours.
(1) It is deemed vital to the best interests of the city that the position of Mayor requires a minimum of 35 office hours per week to be spent in administering to the affairs of the city.
(2) Failure to fulfill the 35-hour requirement will result in the forfeiture of the $1,000 monthly Mayoral compensation for that month or period in which the requirement was not met.
(B) Compensation. The Mayor shall receive as compensation the sum of $1,000 per month.
