The Chief of Police or other city official authorized by the Mayor or Board as a licensed inspector shall make an inspection of each junk yard at least once every six months, and more frequently if deemed necessary, to determine that the operator thereof is in compliance with the provision of the chapter. Any violation of this chapter shall be reported to the City Attorney.
