The Traffic Commission established by § 300.070(1) of the model traffic ordinance, adopted by reference in § 70.01, shall be amended to read as follows: “There may be established a Traffic Commission which shall be the Police Committee of the Board of Aldermen to serve without compensation and such number of other city officers and representatives of unofficial bodies as may be determined and appointed by the Mayor. The Chairperson of the Commission shall be appointed by the Mayor and shall be removed by him or her.”
