(A) The City of Lindstrom hereby establishes a Fire Prevention Bureau.
(B) The Fire Prevention Bureau shall consist of the Fire Chief being the Fire Marshal, Fire Code Official designated by the Fire Chief and the City Council, and Fire Department members designated by the Fire Chief.
(C) The Minnesota State Fire Code shall be enforced by the Fire Prevention Bureau of the city.
(D) Whenever the term State Fire Marshal or Fire Chief appear in the Minnesota State Fire Code, it shall include the Fire Chief and his or her designated bureau members.
(E) The Chief of the Fire Department may detail members of the Fire Department as Assistant Fire Marshals.
(F) A report of the Office of the Fire Prevention Bureau shall be made annually and shall be transmitted to the City Administrator. It shall contain all proceedings under this code with such statistics as the City Administrator may require.
